Are you selfish?

Maybe not selfish, but self centered?  I’ve often counselled people with regards to good self care NOT being selfish, and it isn’t.  And sometimes, yes, you do need to focus on yourself for your own good…  but that’s not what I’m calling into question here and now.

It’s Christmas, yet some of you are upset because….. because some of us believe in the reason for Christmas?  How does that work???

I am the target of complaints because I shared my OWN feelings of faith a tad in a spirituality forum…where there are numerous Merry Christmas threads/posts…in fact, one on site was begun by the webmaster “himself.”  Maybe that was in error?

It used to be if you didn’t like a member at the site,  then put them on ignore.  If you didn’t like the subject, then don’t read the post or thread.  NOW when it comes to something I share, it’s IF YOU DON”T LIKE IT, TELL A MODERATOR and have (me) banned.   How absurd.

I even recently alerted that moderation/admin of a possible conflict from a member because of exactly what I have been experiencing and I guess they also see?  The unfairness of the site with regards to allowing posts by buddhists, native american religionists, wiccans, and other pagans, but NOT from Christians unless disguised as a ‘feel good’ post.  There are icons of buddha and other faiths.  Anyway, what do I get for my efforts?   A slap in the face.

It seems that I’m not allowed to have sad feelings and try to post to share and feel better and show others the love available AT CHRISTMASTIME no less.

This is the first Christmas without my mom.  Need I say more?  She was my family.

In the past, that website would tell members, if you don’t like someone, or what they post, then put them on ignore.  If you don’t like the topics in a forum, then ignore the topics or the whole forum.

If people are hyped up over a post or thread, then yeah, it has to be dealt with…  and I have in chat with many people over wiccan stuff and such on that site… but did I complain to admin to have them BANNED?   Nope.  (I knew it wouldn’t do any good anyway, because that kind of stuff IS allowed…even when it upsets others (but only when it upsets Christians you see?)  because THEN the rule is…. ignore them.)

No,  the real issue is not mental illness, but selfishness.  The members who insist upon going after everything I post are not just unwell, but selfish and vindictive.  Not all of them, for I’m sure that some were swept up in the frenzy and jumped onto the cart in ignorance and true illness.

I mean no ill towards anyone, even the enemies that consistently allow their voices to be heard against me, for whatever reason.

But to not consider MY emotional needs right now.. yes, I’m human, you think I am a wall?…. To have me banned at this most needy time…. just proves that that site no longer cares about individuals, but the masses, whether their motives are evil or honest.

Yeah, those people are selfish.
